Text Mode

Text mode is a state that enables you to create notations on charts. A note is anchored to a price and date/time by a call out line.

Each note you place on a chart inherits a set of adjustable parameters, including the anchor point's price and date/time. While the anchor point may be attached a price on a bar (see above), the anchor point does not have to be attached to a bar.

Notes remain in place in all time bases. In other words, if you create a note on a 15 minute chart, it is visible on a daily chart.
