You can access DDE in Aspen or in Microsoft Excel®. In Aspen, you access the DDE feature by choosing Create DDE Link... from the Tools menu.
In Excel, you access the DDE feature using the Aspen button bar:
To access DDE in Excel, you must first configure the Aspen button bar. To learn how to configure the button bar, click here.
DDE enables Aspen to share market data with other applications, and for other applications to share data with Aspen.
