To configure a JACC, log in to the JACC and follow these steps:

  1. Select Configure from the Main Menu.

  2. Select Configure Jacc from the Configure menu.

This displays a page containing the following fields.

For more information on the fields and expected values, see the table below.

The recommended newer method to connect JACC to a server, but this has not yet been tested by QA.

You need to fill this in only if you have multiple NICs on the JACC machine.  It is the NIC that JACC uses to talk to other JACC within the cluster.

The TCP/IP address of JAS. The TCP/IP address of JAS is jas.aspenres.com (216.237.82.15).

JACC is for Legacy API (contract updates not compatible with Aspen Workstations)

Check this only if you want to connect a Legacy API user to a JACC-based product. This is not the Java API, but rather the legacy 'C' API. If this box is checked, Aspen Graphics workstations will not be able to connect to this product.
